ALL-PHYSICIAN CLINIC
We believe it is vital that every patient be seen by a doctor on every visit. That is why we established our practice as an all-physician clinic with a patient support staff.
OUR MILITARY CONNECTION
We are proud that all of our doctors have honorably and bravely served in the military. Some completed entire careers; others up to 12 years of service. We served as commissioned officers and dermatologists in the Navy and Army. We have served on the East, West and Gulf Coasts, as well as on ships and overseas bases.
Two of our doctors deployed in support of the Global War on Terror and served in combat zones. One served at Ibn Sina Hospital, Baghdad, as the sole consultant for Dermatology for all armed services in Iraqi theater of combat. He received the Bronze Star. We have also participated in humanitarian missions throughout the world, including advanced tropical medicine training in South America.
Another member of our team was appointed as the Specialty Leader for Dermatology to the Surgeon General of the U.S. Navy. Our dermatology team’s experience gives us a very broad and strong understanding of dermatology issues to better serve our patients.
LEADERS IN DERMATOLOGY
All of our physicians belong to professional organizations that are on the cutting edge of advances in dermatology, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Medical Society of Virginia, Tidewater Dermatology Society, and Association of Military Dermatologists.
